You’ll find Kleinood nestled against a backdrop of majestic mountains in the beautiful Stellenbosch valley. The farm’s philosophy is a holistic one, dedicated to exploring, developing and using the land’s full potential.
This ethos is evident in the farm’s diverse product offering. From the award-winning Tamboerskloof wine to the de Boerin Olive Oil and recently added home accessories, it is easy to see that no effort was spared in ensuring that products are a delight to see, smell, taste and touch.
Kleinood’s online presence was no exception to the farm’s balance between letting things happen organically and immaculate attention to detail. This project was one to be approached with care, a design not to be over-handled.
Ofcourse the goal for this website was to invite users to experience Kleinood on-screen.
Subtle typography, a muted colour palette and carefully constructed areas of white space slow down the user experience, encouraging site visitors to linger a little longer.
Long scrolling pages transport site visitors to the farm, becoming a stroll in the gardens, a lazy browse through the de Boerin Pantry, and culminating in a wholesome feast around the Kleinood Table as you become part of the family.
